I removed the handle from the 12in one. I also put it in a rust remover and oiled to prevent rust. It has a lot off wear but the movement is good, and inside the jaws is pretty good. The 18in one is gummed up, but some cleaning should get it moving good. The wood is damaged on that and needs replaced. The top head is a little bent, but looks like it closes pretty square so not sure on that. Inside the jaw isn’t the flattest and especially one corner is rounded up. All of that is fixable basically but needs more work than the smaller one.
